1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on the features you use and whether you create an account.

Account information

When you create or use a MidGenAI account, we may collect:

• Your name and username
• Your email address
• Your profile image URL
• Your Firebase user identifier
• Your MidGenAI user handle
• Account creation and update timestamps
• Account deletion request timestamps
• Authentication and session information

User Content

Depending on the tool you use, we may process:

• Text prompts and instructions
• Uploaded source and reference images
• Generated and edited images
• Uploaded video or audio
• Generated video or synthesized speech
• Background-removed or otherwise processed images
• Generation settings and model preferences
• Image metadata, identifiers, and download URLs

Social and activity information

If you use MidGenAI's account and community features, we may collect:

• Posts and generated-image history
• Likes and liked-content information
• Follower and following relationships
• Reports and moderation information
• Content-download and sharing activity

Technical information

We may automatically receive limited technical information, including:

• IP address
• Browser and device information
• Operating system
• Request timestamps
• Referring pages
• Diagnostic and error information
• Security, rate-limit, and abuse-prevention records
• Cookie and similar-technology identifiers

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts.
• Process prompts, images, videos, audio, and other content to provide requested AI functionality.
• Save generated images, posts, preferences, and account history where applicable.
• Provide downloads, sharing, likes, follows, and profile features.
• Detect prohibited content, fraud, abuse, security threats, and violations of our Terms.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve MidGenAI.
• Respond to questions, support requests, and account inquiries.
• Measure service performance and understand how features are used.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. AI Tool Data Processing

MidGenAI processes User Content to provide the AI tool selected by the user. Processing may occur on MidGenAI's infrastructure or through independent third-party AI and infrastructure providers.

Depending on the tool, your prompt, source image, reference image, audio, video, or other input may be transmitted to one or more service providers for processing.

We may also process limited information to enforce safety restrictions, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain service reliability.

AI Image Generator

Prompts, generated images, generation settings, image URLs, and related metadata may be stored to provide features such as image history, posts, downloads, sharing, and account access.

Image-to-Image

Image-to-Image processes an image supplied by the user together with prompts or generation settings. The source image may be temporarily uploaded, transmitted, or processed by MidGenAI and its AI providers to generate the requested result.

Generated Image-to-Image output and related generation information may be stored where necessary to provide image history, downloads, posts, sharing, or other account features.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right and any required consent to upload and process a source or reference image.

Other AI tools

Text-to-Speech, Text-to-Video, and Background Remover may process prompts, uploaded files, generated audio, generated video, and processed images while completing a request.

Where these tools do not offer account history, MidGenAI does not intentionally add the temporary input or output to your saved account content. Temporary copies may nevertheless exist for a limited time in memory, caches, processing systems, security records, or third-party provider systems.

4. AI and Infrastructure Providers

MidGenAI uses third-party providers to operate its services. Depending on the feature used, these providers may process User Content, account data, or technical information on our behalf.

Provider categories may include:

• AI model and inference providers, which may include Google AI, NVIDIA, Hugging Face-hosted services, and other model providers.
• Authentication providers, including Firebase Authentication.
• Database and backend providers, including Supabase.
• Hosting, security, content-delivery, and object storage providers, including Cloudflare.
• Media storage or processing providers, where used, including Cloudinary.
• Email and communications providers, including transactional-email services.
• Analytics, advertising, fraud-prevention, and anti-abuse providers, where enabled.

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Their processing locations and retention practices may differ from ours.

MidGenAI does not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

MidGenAI uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

These technologies may be used to:

• Keep users signed in.
• Remember preferences and settings.
• Protect accounts and prevent abuse.
• Measure website traffic and performance.
• Diagnose technical errors.
• Display and measure advertising where advertising services are enabled.

You may manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling required cookies or browser storage may prevent account and service features from working correctly.

Where required by applicable law, we may request consent before using non-essential analytics or advertising cookies.

6. Content Safety and Moderation

We may use automated or manual systems to detect illegal, harmful, abusive, explicit, fraudulent, or infringing activity.

This processing may include reviewing prompts, uploaded files, generated output, account activity, or technical signals where reasonably necessary to protect MidGenAI and its users.

Safety systems are not guaranteed to identify every violation and may occasionally block permitted content.

7. Browser Extension Privacy

MidGenAI may provide browser extensions for supported browsers, including Chromium-based browsers and other compatible platforms.

When you intentionally activate an extension feature, the extension may access selected text, source images, screenshots, webpage content, or other information required to perform that feature.

The extension may request permissions for active tabs, storage, downloads, scripts, context menus, browser tabs, or supported webpages when required for user-initiated functionality.

Information required for the requested feature may be transmitted to MidGenAI's servers or applicable service providers for processing.

MidGenAI does not intentionally use its browser extension to record keystrokes or continuously monitor browsing activity. The extension should access webpage content only when required for a feature you activate or where a permission is necessary for the extension to operate.

We do not sell personal information collected through the extension.

8. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: With providers that host, process, secure, moderate, analyze, or deliver MidGenAI.
• User-directed sharing: When you publish a post, share generated content, or make profile information visible to others.
• Legal requirements: When reasonably necessary to comply with law, court orders, government requests, or legal processes.
• Protection and security: To investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, prohibited activity, or violations of our Terms.
• Business changes: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.
• With your consent: When you direct or authorize us to share particular information.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide MidGenAI, maintain account features, protect the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Account information, posts, saved generated images, likes, follows, and related account content may remain stored while your account is active.

Temporary processing files may be removed after a request is completed or after a limited technical retention period. Exact timing may depend on caching, security, infrastructure, and third-party provider systems.

Security, abuse-prevention, diagnostic, and legal records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary.

10. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your MidGenAI account through the Settings page.

In production, account deletion is subject to a 14-day grace period. During this period, you may cancel the deletion request through Settings and keep your account.

After the grace period expires, our deletion process is designed to remove:

• Your Firebase authentication account
• Your MidGenAI profile and account record
• Your posts
• Your stored generated images and associated files
• Your likes on other posts
• Your follower and following relationships

Once deletion has completed, the account and associated content may not be recoverable.

Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, caches, security logs, fraud-prevention records, or third-party provider systems. We may retain information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or enforce our Terms.

11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including the right to:

• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
• Request a copy of certain information
• Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority

These rights may be limited by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

12. International Processing

MidGenAI and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use reasonable measures intended to protect information transferred internationally.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, or misuse.

These measures may include encrypted communications, access controls, authentication, restricted administrative credentials, monitoring, and security protections provided by our infrastructure partners.

No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security or that a security incident will never occur.

14. Children's Privacy

MidGenAI is not intended for children who are unable to legally consent to data processing in their jurisdiction without parental authorization.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information without required permission, please contact us so that we can review and address the request.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice or request consent for material changes.
