You may sign in to MidGenAI using your Google account. When you log in, we securely collect and store your username, email address, and profile image URL to create and manage your account. This information may be displayed on your profile page.

2. Cookies & Similar Technologies

MidGenAI uses cookies and similar technologies to provide, secure, maintain, and improve our website and services.

These technologies may be used for purposes including:

• Keeping users signed in through Firebase Authentication.
• Measuring website traffic and performance using Google Analytics.
• Displaying and measuring advertisements through Google Ads.
• Improving website performance, security, and reliability through Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers.
• Remembering user preferences and settings.

We do not sell your personal information. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, some features of MidGenAI may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

3. AI Tool Data Processing

Our AI-powered tools process your submitted content only for the purpose of generating the requested results.

This includes:

• AI Image Generator
• Text-to-Speech (TTS)
• Text-to-Video
• Background Remover

For Text-to-Speech, Text-to-Video, and Background Remover, your uploaded files, text prompts, generated audio, generated videos, processed images, and temporary processing files are used only while completing your request and are not permanently stored by MidGenAI.

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the legal rights to upload and process any content they submit.

4. AI Models & Processing

MidGenAI uses a combination of open-source, free, and third-party AI models to provide its services. These AI models process user requests solely to generate the requested output and are not intended to collect or retain personal information.

5. Content Safety

We implement safeguards designed to reduce the generation of illegal, harmful, abusive, or explicit content. Users must not upload or generate content that violates applicable laws, intellectual property rights, or the rights of others.

6. Data Collection & Storage

We collect and securely store only the information required to provide your account and our services, including:

• Username
• Email address
• Profile image URL

For our AI Image Generator, generated images and related generation information (such as prompts, generation settings, and metadata) may be stored securely so that you can access your image history and downloads.

We do not store any data submitted to or generated by the following tools:

• Text-to-Speech (TTS)
• Text-to-Video
• Background Remover

This means we do not permanently retain your text prompts, uploaded images, uploaded videos, generated audio, generated videos, processed images, or temporary processing files for these tools. They are automatically discarded after your request has been completed.

We may also collect limited technical information, such as server logs, for security, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability. These logs do not include the actual content you submit to our AI tools.

7. Browser Extension Privacy

MidGenAI also provides browser extensions for supported browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, and other Chromium-based browsers.

When you use the browser extension, it only accesses webpage content, selected text, images, screenshots, or other information when you explicitly request an AI feature, such as AI image generation, background removal, image-to-prompt conversion, AI video generation, text-to-speech, or other supported tools.

The extension requests only the browser permissions necessary to provide its functionality, including access to the active tab, downloads, storage, scripting, context menus, browser tabs, and supported webpages when required for user-initiated actions.

Depending on the feature you use, the extension may securely transmit text prompts, uploaded images, screenshots, selected webpage content, or other information required to process your request through MidGenAI's servers. This information is processed solely to provide the requested AI functionality.

The browser extension does not monitor your browsing activity, collect your browsing history, record keystrokes, or access webpage content unless necessary to perform a feature that you have intentionally requested.

MidGenAI does not sell your personal information or use data collected through the extension for advertising or profiling purposes.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including secure databases, encrypted communications where applicable, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page along with the updated revision date. Continued use of MidGenAI after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
